See below for extracts from the Octopus Energy website terms and conditions, detailing the eligibility of a referrer and referee to receive referral rewards under the Octopus referral programme:
7.5 You will NOT be eligible to refer customers to us under the referral scheme if:
7.5.1 You are not an existing customer of Octopus Energy;
7.5.2 The person you refer is an existing customer of Octopus Energy (including any of its white label brands), or is supplied under the Bulb energy supply licence;
7.5.3 The person you refer cancels their agreement with us before their Supply Start Date or their first successful direct debit payment;
7.5.4 The person you refer has been a customer of Octopus Energy within the last 12 months
7.6 You will only be eligible for a referral reward if you sign up directly online through a Personalised Link. You will not be eligible for a referral reward if you sign up via a third party like a price comparison site.
7.7 If you qualify for more than one type of marketing incentive, we reserve the right to give you just one incentive. This will be the highest value incentive of those for which you qualify.
