In the 2023 Uswitch Energy Awards, Octopus Energy won the main award for Overall Customer Satisfaction and was commended for keeping the majority of its customers satisfied despite the volatility across the energy market and wholesale prices. Octopus were rated the UK's no.1 supplier in 7 of 9 categories in the survey of 17,000 customers. They were also awarded the top prize in the Most Likely to Recommend, Best Incentives/Rewards, Best Customer Service, Best Billing Service, Best Online Services and Best Support Through The Ongoing Energy Crisis categories.
Octopus is a Which? Recommended Provider for the 7th year in a row. Which? surveyed 9,025 energy customers in October 2023 and asked them to rate customer service overall, accessibility (whether they can engage with their provider how they want or need to), quality of communications about energy costs, how accurate payments are, how clear statements are and value for money. Each supplier's total score combines these customers opinions with Which? analysis and an in-depth assessment of the firms' practices. Octopus Energy was yet again top of the energy customer survey and was the only company with a 5-star customer service rating from its customers.
Octopus is also rated "Excellent" on Trustpilot by around 90% of reviewers, based on over 289,000 reviews.
Once you've read enough great Octopus Energy reviews, remember to use a referral link instead of switching via a comparison website.
